Summary
Cricklewood Craic is a portrait of the Irish construction workers who lived and worked in North East London between 1950 and the end of the 20th century. Four retired workers recall their experiences. Since then, everything has deeply changed, the “ancient spirit” which drew the lives of the inhabitants of Cricklewood and grounded their identities has disappeared, leaving only old songs and past memories as remains of those “glorious times”.
