The project ”Me, Myself and work” is supported by MIURand MIBACTwithin the Program for “Cinema in the Schools” that took place in April 2018 and promotes “civil growth, social integration and the development of intercultural relationships among people through the use of cinema and audiovisual media”.
The project fosters “audiovisual and film culture in the schools, as well as among students and teachers” and develops in a series of workshopsfocused on contemporary workthat analyse the main stereotypes about work, genre and migration by resorting to documentaries from the archives of the Marco Biagi Foundation (www.shortonwork.org) and to the use of different role plays that will be discussed and commented in team.
The activities are addressed to the secondary schools of Modena and are scheduled for October 2019; the final works and results will be presented to the students and to the teachers at the 7thAward Ceremony of “Short on Work” at the Auditorium of the Marco Biagi Foundation on 20 November 2019.
The activities of the project are conceived within the framework of the “National Program for Cinema in the Schools” supported by MIUR and MIBACT.
