This documentary is the result of a research on female work and lives conditions in the industrial district of Modena. In particular, this is the story of Barbara and Francesca, two factory workers at the engineering mill of Wam, based in Cavezzo, a factory which was dramatically hit by the earthquakes of the 20th and the 29th of May 2012.

This video-research focuses on women workers in a small-medium enterprise and it inquires the theme of the work-life balance, analyzing the division of work in the housekeeping sphere together with the industrial relations between workers and their employer. The video is originally persuasive as it experiments research methods that shed new light to the relationship between the researcher and the object of his observation.
