Biographical note of the author
During her BSc she shot her first short film entitled “The ROPE WATCH” being also present in the Farcume Festival 2012 and the official “SOON”.
Synopsis
The documentary intends to give an overview of one of the methods used to produce charcoal in Portugal, as this is still one of the methods that comes close to the secular ones that were still very active in the past decades. This tour of the world of coal passes through the cutting of trees, that gives rise to it, and will guide until the sale of the product at the production site.
